Israel's air force is continuing its military provocations against German naval vessels patrolling off the Lebanese coast as part of the UNIFIL mission only five days after Israeli F-16 fighter jets fired shots at a German naval ship, the Munich-based Focus news magazine reported Saturday.

Israeli fighter planes have repeatedly locked on their radar on German naval helicopters flying over Lebanese territorial waters.

Locking in radar on an enemy aircraft is generally considered by military experts as the last step before an actual attack.
