The Medieval era did not provide a get-out-of-jail-free card for the aristocracy. Nor was it bloodthirsty. Nor was it as filthy, ignorant, unjust and silly as our modern people attempt to portray it, in an attempt to make our current failure of a society seem "enlightened" and "progressive."
